40 inch art deco acoustic dreadnaught guitar. This is a standard 40 inch dreadnaught design guitar. The guitar measures 40 inches from the tip of the head stock to the lower strap lock. Dreadnaught guitars are a full 2 inches longer than a classic guitar. The larger body on the dreadnaught design give it a unique full body sound. Dreadnaughts have been favored by folk, classic, country and even rock players. The finish on this guitar is a high gloss.
It is constructed with a set neck, and comes with steel strings. Nylon strings can be used on this guitar as well. The guitar does have a pic guard as well to protect the body from scratches from your guitar pick. The body and sides are constructed from laminate spruce wood not compressed fibers like other inexpensive guitars.
The guitar has a unique Art Deco influenced headstock. It has traditional dot inlays, chrome plated sealed tuning keys, laser etched decorations around the sound hole and classic black binding on the front, back and along the fret board. We highly recommend that the guitar be set up by a professional.
