Any stringed instrument no matter what you paid for it should be taken to your local music shop, and have them set it up. The cost is normally between $20 to $50 dollars depending on your local shop. They will adjust the height of the strings and the bridge, adjust the pitch of the neck via the strut rod. Bring the height on the fret rods if needed too. Every string instrument should have this done to it, whether you purchase a brand name super expensive instrument, or one that was made aboard. And don't knock products made aboard cause the best hand made guitars are made in Spain and Panama.
